The called “Criollas” The event is on Dicember 25^th in “La Fomento”. The tickets are 200$ per person.

The main atractions is a gaucho cavalry, parade “Voladas en pelo” “jineteadas”, and it ends with a dance in the ring. There are stores selling beverages, food and Toys.

Bonfires of San Juan

It is celebrate the eighth edition of the “ Bonfires of San Juan” on Saturday, June 25 at the Artigas Square.

ATTRACTIONS: Entrepreneuros fair,artisan gastronomy,games for chilidren , shows and at dusk the classie bom fere lighting.

ACTIVIDADES: Drummers, fire shows,paintings, audiovisual proyecciones, storytellers,dancers,poetry,among,others.

Cordero Serrano Celebration

This event is celebrate on November 5 in 'La Fomento'. It is organized by 'CALAI' and 'Nativos del Leon' the tickets are free os chage.

The main atractions is a barbacue contest, which is tried by judges. This year judges will be Alejandro Acland and Jean Paul Bondux.

Other atractions are: Competition and demostrations with trained dogs, work with sheeps.

There are exhibitions of drawings from local schools and rotiserie.

La fiesta del jabali

The real name of this traditional event is ´´Tradicion jabali y aventura en Aiguá´. It is celebrate since 90s and since 2006 it is in hands of ´Instituciones Unidas de Aiguá´.

Every year,it is celebrate the first weekend of October in ´´La fomento de Aiguá ´´

Tickets cost: $200. Kids undes 12 enter for free.

The attractions there are: live music, parades, 4 por 4 trucks, motorhike dance, riding.

Las carretillas

Las carretillas is held every two years in November, in La Fomento Aigua.The festival started through a group from the 6to grade high school with the mathematics teacher, there will be a craft fair and other attractions.Admissions will be free.Curious fact in Aigua , is that there is a gigant wheel bawor located at the entrance.

Cow Festival

The “Cow Festival” will be from May1st to 3st March 26, 2015 a new editions of the “Cow Festival” will be held at Fomento de Aiguá in the first days of next May.

This was reported to the Municipaly of Aiguá by the Comisión for the Support different Abilites (Codocadí) of the city.

Its heodpques will be facilites of “Fomento de Aiguá” its a propsal in the ring related to cow, suchas cattle competitionn, pialada (men and woman), leather race,etc.
